Our story
It started with a joke about job titles.
CEO.
Founder.
Co-founder.
Entrepreneur.
For years, we’ve used titles like these to explain what we do and where we sit in a company.
But companies are starting to look a little different.
A founder can now brainstorm with an AI, research a market with another, write code with another, create designs, answer customers, analyze data, produce content - and ship something real.
The team is there.
It just doesn’t look much like a team used to.
Sometimes, there’s only one person in the entire org chart.
So we thought:
If there’s only one human, maybe we don’t need all those titles anymore.
Maybe the most accurate title is simply:

That joke became 1HUMAN.AT.
One human. Many agents.
We believe a new kind of company is emerging.
Small by headcount.
Big by capability.
One person can build, operate and experiment at a scale that once required an entire team.
Not because the human disappeared.
Quite the opposite.
When agents can research, write, code, design and automate, the human becomes the part that matters most.
The one with the idea.

The curiosity.
The weird decisions.
The responsibility to decide what should exist in the first place.
AI can do a lot of the work.
But someone still has to be human.
So we made a new title for it.
